Catan Connect

Catan Connect is a special version of the popular board game Catan, designed for large groups of players. It is based on the "Big Game Event Kit" concept, which allows more than 100 participants to play simultaneously. Catan Connect is ideal for conventions, school events, or social gatherings where players want to connect as part of a larger community.

This game is Slovenian/Croatian Edition.

The base version supports 4 to 6 players, and for larger groups, multiple Connect sets can be linked together to create one massive Catan island.

The game is set on the fictional island of Catan, where players take on the roles of settlers striving to develop their settlements into successful civilizations. The island is rich in natural resources (wood, brick, grain, wool, ore), which players gather, trade, and use to build roads, settlements, and cities.

In the Connect version, the island is expanded into a huge playing surface, where each player builds their own path to victory while participating in synchronized gameplay phases with all others.

Catan Connect retains the core mechanics of classic Catan, but adapts them for large-scale play:

• All players use the same dice roll result, enabling synchronized turns.

• Players can trade with those around them – offering a wealth of opportunities for negotiation and diplomacy.

• Each player builds their network of roads and settlements on their own section of the island, which is connected to others.

• The goal is to reach a specific number of victory points through building, development, and achievements.
