Alien Frontiers: Edition X takes you into a retro sci‑fi world of exploring an uncharted planet. Players are colonists competing for influence over a newly discovered alien territory, where they build colonies, research foreign technologies, gather resources, and expand their space fleet. The game celebrates more than 10 years of the series’ existence and combines the core experience with several expansions in one edition.

The dice represent spacecraft. In each round, you roll them and use the results to activate orbital stations, gain resources (fuel and ore), build ships, or utilize advanced alien technology. Players constantly balance fuel and ore, which they need for constructing colonies, building ships, and triggering special actions. With Alien Tech cards, you can manipulate dice results, gain special actions, or create long‑term advantages. The final goal is to control territories on the planet — the more colonies you have in a specific region, the more influence and victory points you achieve.

The game includes detailed components, such as miniatures and graphic elements, which enhance the gameplay experience.

Edition X contains multiple modules, including Outer Belt, Factions, Agendas, and Data Core Expansion, providing varied setups and additional strategies.
