In Art Robbery, you take on the role of art thieves who have just pulled off a successful museum heist. The hardest part is yet to come – how to divide the loot? On the table are paintings, sculptures, and antiques, but there’s never enough for everyone. On top of that, the FBI is on your tail, so besides collecting treasures, you must gather enough alibis to avoid arrest.
The game is designed as a card game for 2–5 players and lasts about 20 minutes. Over several rounds, players use numbered cards to claim artworks or steal pieces already taken by opponents. Special cards add surprises, such as the guard dog that protects your loot. A key element is collecting alibis – the player with the fewest alibis at the end of the game loses, regardless of the value of their haul.
