Bad Company is a lighthearted criminal adventure in which players lead their own unusual, comical gangs. You build a team of gangsters, carry out heists, and at the same time try to escape from the police. The game features distinctly humorous illustrations, creating a relaxed criminal atmosphere — a playful world of villains with long, stretchable torsos as you upgrade them. The goal of the game is to build the most successful gang by hiring various specialists, planning heists, and avoiding capture.
Players create their criminal crew, hiring members with different abilities such as locksmiths, drivers, or escape experts, and planning and executing heists. Throughout the game, they face challenges such as gathering resources for a heist, recruiting new gang members, and evading the police.
Each player has a board with 11 gang members. They upgrade them by placing cards over them, which changes the appearance of the members and increases their abilities. Each round, players roll four dice and divide them into two pairs. Each pair activates one of the gang members, enabling players to collect resources for heists, recruit new members, or move their car through the city. Players must ensure their car progresses through the city, as they need movement to collect loot during a heist. Points are earned through successful heists, upgrading gang members, and advancing the car through the city.
