Blank Slate is a fun and easy-to-learn word association board game published by The Op (USAopoly). Designed for 3–8 players, it’s an excellent choice for family game nights, parties, or relaxed play with friends.
The game is all about shared thinking and mental connection between players. Everyone tries to guess what word others might write—without being too obvious or too outlandish. Blank Slate encourages creativity, humor, and intuition.
Each player receives a board and a marker. In each round, a card is drawn showing a phrase with a blank space (for example, “___ luck” or “print ___”). Players must write one word to complete the phrase. The goal is to match your word with exactly one other player. Scoring works as follows:
- If your word matches with one other player, both earn 3 points.
- If it matches with multiple players, each of you earns 1 point.
- If it matches with no one, you earn 0 points.
The game continues until someone reaches a pre-set score (usually 25 points). 🧾🖊️💭
