The game is the Slovenian edition and includes Slovenian rules.
Catan – Dice Game is a portable, faster version of the well-known board game Catan, retaining the feeling of settling an island but with simplified rules and a focus on dice rolling.
The game stays true to the world of Catan: players take on the role of settlers on an island, where they collect resources (wood, brick, grain, wool, ore) and use them to build roads, settlements, cities, and knights. A special feature of this version is that each player has their own sheet (map of the island), on which they mark their construction by writing, instead of placing pieces on a shared board.
Thematically, you are still building your own small civilization, but in a more intimate and “personal” style of development.
Players roll up to 6 special dice representing resources. In each turn, they may roll the dice up to three times and decide after each roll which dice to keep. Building requires specific combinations of resources (e.g., wood + brick for a road). Construction is done by marking structures on the sheet (map).
