Cities: City Achievements and Theaters is an expansion for the board game Cities.
Design new urban neighborhoods with the first expansion for Cities! It includes 11 new city achievement tiles and the mini-expansion Theaters. These 11 tiles each feature two different cities on either side from various countries: Hungary (Budapest, Kecskemét), Germany (Hamburg, Berlin), France (Paris, Nancy), Czech Republic (Brno, Prague), the Netherlands (Antwerp, Amsterdam), Russia (Moscow, Saint Petersburg), South Korea (Busan, Seoul), Poland (Warsaw, Kraków), China (Beijing, Shanghai), Chile (Santiago), Italy (Rome), and Japan (Tokyo, Osaka).
The mini-expansion Theaters includes 4 theater tokens. When a player takes tiles from the special feature row, they may discard one of the monument or special feature tiles they just took and instead take one theater token from the supply (each player may take only 1 theater token per game). They then place it on a city space in their city. At the end of the game, the player scores 1 point for each building in the same row and/or column as the theater token that matches the theater’s color.
