Codenames: Marvel is a version of the popular party game Codenames adapted for fans of the Marvel universe. The game combines the classic Codenames mechanics with elements from Marvel’s world, allowing players to test their deduction and word-association skills.
In this version, players take on the roles of superheroes divided into two teams. The goal is to identify all of your team’s agents as quickly as possible—these are represented by words and images of characters, locations, and objects from the Marvel universe. This lets players immerse themselves in the world of their favorite Marvel comics and films.
The game is played in two teams, each consisting of one or more players. At the start, 25 cards showing various Marvel-themed elements are laid out on the table. The team leaders (spymasters) know the secret identities of the cards, while their teammates know only their code names. The spymaster gives one-word clues that can point to multiple cards on the table. Their teammates then try to guess the correct cards while avoiding the opposing team’s cards and the assassin.
The game encourages teamwork, strategic thinking, and quick associations, making it fun for players of all ages.
