The board game Copenhagen: Deluxe Edition is a colorful and pleasant game for 2–4 players, inspired by arranging the facades of houses in the famous Danish district of Nyhavn, known for its vibrant buildings along the canal.
In the game, players take on the role of architects competing to design the most beautiful facades along the harbor. Each player has their own house and gradually covers it with colorful polyomino tiles (similar to Tetris pieces) to create a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing exterior. Special emphasis is placed on windows, as complete rows or columns filled with windows award additional points.
Players collect cards of matching colors to obtain tiles. They place polyomino tiles on their player board (the house), and creating specific patterns earns points. Players can also gain special abilities that help them during construction.
