The game features a very strong and atmospheric detective/crime theme.
The story is set at a remote research station on Mount Mortimer, where a group of nine employees becomes trapped by a violent snowstorm. Tensions rise, and then one of them—Dr. Achenbach—is brutally murdered.
Players take on the role of detectives who must:
- investigate the circumstances of the murder
- uncover the secrets of the suspects
- determine who is guilty
It is a cooperative detective/logic game (playable solo as well) that simulates solving a real criminal case. The game includes a “case file” with documents such as police reports, witness statements, suspect photos, and an autopsy report. Players must analyze evidence, look for motives, and eliminate suspects until they reach a solution.
Players also gain access to a “police email system,” where they can search for additional information and evidence. They discuss together, share theories, and solve the case as a team.
A single playthrough lasts about 2–3 hours and offers a more “one-time” experience (similar to an escape room).
