You play as the Headless Horseman, a terrifying character from folklore and horror tales. His power comes from the fear of his opponents, which he uses to strengthen his attacks and special abilities. A key part of his arsenal is the Haunted Head, which he uses to terrorize his enemies while relentlessly riding across the battlefield and drawing ever closer to their inevitable doom.
Like all heroes in the Dice Throne series, the Headless Horseman combines:
- dice rolling and manipulation, allowing you to roll dice up to three times per turn to activate different abilities;
- tactical card play, which enhances attacks, defense, or alters dice results;
- unique status effects, such as Dreadful, Grim Pursuit, and Haunted Head, which are exclusive to this hero.
One of his most interesting mechanics is collecting Dreadful tokens, which represent the fear he instills in his opponents. These tokens unlock stronger effects and dangerous combinations. In addition, Grim Pursuit grants extra dice rolls, increasing his chances of unleashing devastating attacks.
