Shadow of the Storm is the second in a series of expansions known as Valley Expansions, which expand the Valley with new locations and paths to explore, new characters to meet, missions to complete, and rewards to unlock.
A distinctive feature of every Valley Expansion is the inclusion of a new campaign guide and map, which together create a mini-campaign. This mini-campaign can be played before, during, or after the main story, giving players even greater freedom to explore and experience the world of the game.
