Echoes of Time is a strategic board game for 2–4 players, lasting approximately 30–60 minutes. The authors are Simone Luciani and Roberto Pellei, known for games such as Tzolk’in and Lorenzo il Magnifico, which already suggests a deep strategic design.

The setting takes place in a fantastic, untouched world where four factions control different aspects of nature:

• ocean depths with dark abysses,
• windy hills with protected forests,
• endless night skies,
• mysterious underground tunnels.

Within these landscapes lie sources of ancient energy that allow control over the most important element of life – time. Players aim to build the best fellowship of heroes from various factions and claim these sources of power to manipulate the flow of time.

More than 100 unique cards enable diverse strategies in every game. The innovative “sliding tile” system determines how long cards take to become active and how their effects are triggered. Cards have multiple functions, requiring thoughtful decision-making.

This mechanic adds an intriguing layer of planning, as every action costs not only resources but also time, creating the feeling of a “time track” that must be mastered.
