Everdell Silverfrost immerses players in a cold, snow-covered world of Woodland critters—a village on the sacred Silverfrost mountain, where the inhabitants must keep the fire burning to survive the harsh winter and restore warmth to their homes.

Just like in the original Everdell, you’ll place workers, gather resources (birch, moss, copper, acorn), and build your urban structure with cards. Fire is a new resource—it melts snow on action spaces and in your city, while also enabling the activation of buildings and special effects. Snow, on the other hand, covers locations and disrupts synergies. Some buildings have a “chimney,” allowing free play of certain animal cards—but activating the chimney requires fire. Included is a three-dimensional mountain module where you can summon unique legendary critters that bring resources and points, often requiring fire for activation.
At each seasonal transition, snow falls on random locations and cards, reducing available actions and disabling functions until you clear them with fire. One worker has snowshoes, which allow the use of occupied action spaces or gaining extra fire on an empty space. In addition to classic public goals, private quests have been added, offering each player a unique strategy and reward.
