Flashback: Zombie Kidz

Flashback: Zombie Kidz is a cooperative detective board game set in the popular world of Zombie Kidz: Evolution. This time, players don’t fight zombies by rolling dice or moving miniatures, but by exploring the past through the eyes of different characters to uncover secrets and stop the zombies’ evil plans.

Zombies have taken over the school and are planning to conquer the world! Players take on the roles of young heroes who must use “memories” to investigate what happened and prevent a future disaster. The game world is full of humor, clever gadgets (like strawberry jam traps and giant vegetables), and childlike imagination – without violence, but with plenty of tension and fun.

The game is based on visual investigation. Players examine illustrated cards and search for clues. Each scene has multiple “points of view,” meaning players can see the same moment through the eyes of different characters – revealing new information. Special items discovered during the game allow for additional insights and expand the story. Each “Memory” contains questions the group must answer once they’ve gathered enough information. The game includes three main memories, followed by a secret booklet with new challenges.

Instead of classic gameplay, this is a story-driven experience told through images and logical deduction. While the story is linear, hidden elements in the game allow for replayability with new goals. It encourages cooperation, communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
