FLESH AND BLOOD TCG – Silver Age Decks: Usurp the Shadow Throne – Viserai, Between Worlds is a ready-to-play preconstructed deck for the Silver Age format in Flesh and Blood.
Viserai, Between Worlds is a dark Shadow Runeblade hero who travels between the mortal world and the mysterious Shadowrealm. His power comes from dark magic, Runechants, and energies drawn from other dimensions. Throughout the game, he steadily accumulates supernatural power until he transforms into an even more dangerous form, overwhelming opponents with a barrage of shadow-infused attacks.
The deck's core mechanic revolves around creating Runechant tokens. Whenever Viserai creates a Runechant, he will often banish the top card of his deck, and many of those banished cards can later be played.
Once he creates three Runechants in a single turn, the Traverse mechanic is triggered, transforming him from Viserai, Between Worlds into Viserai, Usurper. In this form, he becomes significantly more aggressive, as his first attack with Blood Debt each turn gains go again, enabling longer and more efficient attack sequences.
Many of the attack cards also feature the Usurp keyword. When playing one of these cards, you must destroy a Runechant token, which strengthens the attack and applies additional pressure to your opponent. As a result, players must constantly balance creating Runechants, utilizing banished cards, and carefully choosing the right moment to transition into Viserai's more powerful form.
