Frosted Blooms takes you into the Dutch spring, where the first tulips begin to awaken beneath a light veil of lingering winter frost. Players take on the roles of master gardeners striving to create the most harmonious and admired tulip garden of the season.
The atmosphere is gentle, calm, and soothing, yet beneath it lies genuine strategy – a natural contrast between beautiful aesthetics and tactical depth.
This is a strategic tile‑laying game with a focus on patterns, hand management, and thoughtful placement.
Each round, you select Landscape tiles and add them to your garden to form groups of tulips of the same colour, water connections, and enclosed spaces. After placing a tile, you always play a Landscape Card, which determines how your current layout scores. This requires good planning and flexibility.
If you create enclosed spaces with your tiles, you fill them with:
These elements bring significant bonus points at the end of the game.
There are many different objective tiles, which dramatically change each playthrough — from collecting specific structures to forming tulip patterns. After ten rounds, points from patterns, structures, and objectives are added up — the winner is the player who built the most beautiful and cleverly designed garden.
🌷❄️ In the cold spring, with the right planning, even the most beautiful garden can bloom.
