Ghost Blitz (originally Geistesblitz) is an extremely fun and fast-paced party game for 2–8 players that relies on reflexes, observation, and logical thinking. The game was designed by Jacques Zeimet and published by Zoch Verlag.
It features a light and humorous theme centered around a friendly ghost and its unusual objects: a white ghost, a green bottle, a gray mouse, a blue book, and a red chair. These wooden items are placed in the middle of the table, waiting for players to grab them as quickly as possible.
The game includes a deck of cards, each showing two objects — one may be correctly colored, while the other is incorrectly colored.
Players must figure out which object is the correct one for that card:
- If one object is shown in the correct color, that is the correct item.
- If neither object is shown in the correct color, players must grab the object that is not shown on the card and whose color is also not present.
The first player to correctly grab the right object wins the card. If someone grabs the wrong item, they must give up one of their cards.
The game continues until the deck runs out — the player with the most cards wins.
