Jamaica is a colorful, fun, and thrilling racing adventure for 2 to 6 players, set in the year 1675 when retired pirate Henry Morgan and his old crew embark on an annual regatta around the island of Jamaica—celebrating their glory days of plunder.
Players take on the role of pirate captains competing in a naval race around the island. But this is no ordinary race—speed matters, but so does the wealth you gather along the way. This includes raiding ports, hunting for treasure, battling other pirates, and managing supplies of food, gunpowder, and gold.
Using cards and dice rolls, players determine their day and night actions—moving their ship or collecting resources. Each ship has five holds where players store food, gunpowder, and gold. When two ships meet, combat is triggered with dice rolls. The winner can steal goods or special cards. Every space has a cost—at sea you pay with food, in ports with gold. The game ends when the first player crosses the finish line, but victory goes to the one with the most gold.
