King of Tokyo/New York: Monster Pack – Luchador is an expansion for King of New York, King of Tokyo, and King of Tokyo: Monster Box.

Like other similar expansions, King of Tokyo/New York: Monster Pack – Luchador includes several elements that can be added to your game individually or together:

• The monster Luchador enters the ring, with or without power cards, depending on how you play the King of... games.

• The expansion introduces “challenge mode”, where each monster puts on a mask at the start of the game. If you damage a monster in Tokyo (or New York) and it doesn’t retreat, you can challenge it to a one-on-one duel. Each player will play a challenge card face down, and other players can contribute challenge cards to either side of the duel.

Whoever performs the best wrestling move — perhaps a “Giant Powerhouse”? — wins the duel and takes the other monster’s mask, which is worth 2 points as long as you keep it.
