Legendary: Game of Thrones Deck Building Game is a competitive deck‑building game set in the world of the Seven Kingdoms, where players take control of the great Houses of Westeros and fight for the Iron Throne. The game features beloved heroes, anti‑heroes, dragons, and direwolves from Houses Stark, Lannister, Dothraki, and other factions, with each House having its own unique heroes, locations, and mastermind enemies.
The game includes original artwork, new rules, and a system that transforms the classic Legendary formula into a brutal, direct competition—no cooperation, only the battle for dominance.
Each player has their own row of five Hero cards from which they strengthen their deck—different from other Legendary games where everyone drafts from a shared pool. This highlights the identity of the chosen House (e.g., Stark vs. Lannister).
On each turn, you reveal a card from the Ally Deck (equivalent to the Villain Deck), and then use your Hero cards to generate Attack and Recruit points, which allow you to defeat enemy allies or recruit stronger heroes. Your deck gradually grows and becomes more effective. Each House has its own masterminds you must protect while attempting to defeat your opponents’. Once enough masterminds have been defeated, the game ends, and the House with the most victory points wins. Unlike Marvel Legendary, here each player stands alone—using abilities that harm opponents is part of the strategy and perfectly thematic for Game of Thrones.
