Lost Ruins of Arnak: Twisted Paths is an expansion for the game Lost Ruins of Arnak.

Twisted Paths is the latest major expansion to the world of Arnak. Its central novelty is a new double‑sided map, larger than the one from the base game, featuring two new research tracks, each with unique mechanisms and components.

On the map, you can choose to explore the day side and climb the white stone of the Owl Temple. This side uses new special temple tiles that can be combined with one another to create additional idol slots, as well as a third research token — the lantern, which brings even more powerful research rewards. Alternatively, you can venture into the night and travel through the dark caverns of the Spider Temple. This side introduces a new resource, dark tablets, used to invoke mysterious altars and to place artifacts directly onto the research track, where you can use them as you advance. But beware — using dark tablets can grant strong rewards, yet also cost you points if you become too ambitious!

In addition to the two new maps, the expansion also brings new guardians, sites, and assistants. It also includes solo content — tiles for the new maps, as well as Purple Rival tiles and Rival Objectives, two mini‑expansions previously released online as print‑and‑play.
