Each player controls a dwarf who moves through the mine using tunnel cards. These cards may bring gold, move the dwarf toward the exit, or push them closer to the dragon. Players collect gold tokens, but must be careful not to let greed bring them too close to danger. The game uses the classic push-your-luck mechanic — risk it or retreat. Every turn is a choice between safety and greed.
