My Shelfie is a light, visually appealing, and tactical board game that puts players in the role of fans of neatly arranged bookshelves — or, more accurately, “shelfie” masters.
In the game, players compete to see who can organize their bookshelf the best. From the living room (the shared game board), they pick up tiles representing various items — books, plants, picture frames, games, etc. — and arrange them on their personal shelf. The goal is to create the most aesthetic and strategic layout that matches both public and personal objectives.
On their turn, players take 1–3 adjacent tiles from the shared board, which must form a straight line. The tiles are then stacked into columns on the player’s personal 3D bookshelf — similar to the mechanics in Connect Four. Points are earned by completing public goals (e.g., specific shapes or color groups) and secret personal goals. It’s important to think about colors, patterns, and placement, as points are awarded for groups of matching items.
If you enjoy games that combine logic, aesthetics, and light competition, My Shelfie is an excellent choice. 📚✨
