In Nanatoridori, players find themselves in the Kingdom of Birds, where the grand Peacock Parade—a lavish gala that attracted birds from all over the world—has just taken place. After a night of celebration, the birds have become mixed up and can no longer find their way home. Players take on the role of gala guides, tasked with helping the birds reunite with their own flocks.
Nanatoridori is a fast-paced hand management game for 2–6 players, lasting about 10–20 minutes. Each player holds a mixed hand of bird cards that cannot be rearranged. The goal is to be the first to empty your hand, while avoiding being the last player remaining—since the last player loses one life.
Players play cards in ascending order—a higher value or a larger set beats the previous play. When you beat an opponent, you may add their cards to your hand (placing them anywhere) or discard them. When a player loses their second life, the game ends—all other players win.
