Nassau is a medium-heavy Euro game for 2 to 4 players. The game is divided into four seasons, each consisting of two main phases.
Players place pirates in various locations throughout the city of Nassau to acquire equipment and resources. They collect weapons, cannons, ammunition, provisions, rum, and other valuable items. They develop their ship and crew, improving the capabilities of their expedition. With a fully prepared vessel, players sail across the Caribbean, exploring new locations and choosing from a variety of actions and adventures. Players collect sets and optimize their scoring through achievements and tales of their exploits. Dice rolling influences certain conflicts and events encountered during these adventures.
