This game is based on the cult horror film Night of the Living Dead (1968) by George A. Romero. Players find themselves barricaded inside a farmhouse while the living dead gather outside, driven by a single desire: human flesh. In the game, you take on the role of survivors who must cooperate to complete objectives, defend against attacks, and—if possible—survive the night.
It is a cooperative game for 1–6 players, lasting around 60 minutes. The game is built on the Zombicide system, but adapted to match the atmosphere of the film.
Each character has a Romero mode (less powerful, more thematic) and a Zombicide mode (stronger, more action-oriented). Switching between them is part of the strategy. The map changes depending on the scenario, allowing for varied gameplay. The game includes multiple scenarios that recreate scenes from the film—from searching for equipment to defending against waves of zombies. All characters and zombies are represented by highly detailed miniatures, which enhance immersion. Players gain experience, unlock abilities, and face increasing danger.
