Pacts is a strategic board game for two players set in the world of Celtic mythology, where the Seelie Court (spring, growth) and the Unseelie Court (cold, trickery) clash for dominance. Players take on the roles of rulers of the fae courts and, with the aid of mythological creatures—such as dragons, banshees, and selkies—compete for influence over the sacred regions of a mystical island.
At the heart of the game lies a clever and highly interactive “I split, you choose” mechanism:
- each round, one player divides the available actions into two sets,
- the opponent then decides who will take which set.
