Panic Lab is a fun and fast-paced game set in a chaotic laboratory where amoebas have escaped! Players take on the role of scientists who must quickly find and capture the runaway amoeba before anyone else does. The amoebas come in different colors, shapes, and patterns, and the lab is filled with special devices that can mutate them or help them escape even further.
All players search simultaneously for the correct amoeba on the game board. At the start of each round, a player rolls special dice that determine which amoeba to look for (color, shape, pattern), which lab it escaped from, and the direction it moved. As it travels, the amoeba may pass through mutation machines that change its shape, color, or pattern, while vents allow it to skip sections of the loop. Players must quickly and accurately track the amoeba’s path and account for every transformation along the way. The first player to find the correct amoeba scores a point. The game is played over several rounds, and the player with the most points wins.
