Pocket Samurai is a fast-paced strategic card game for two players that places them in the role of samurai locked in a tense duel of honor. Inspired by classic samurai stories and films, victory does not necessarily belong to the strongest warrior, but to the one who can best anticipate their opponent's intentions and strike at the perfect moment.
The gameplay is divided into two main phases. In the first, called the Dojo Phase, players draft cards from an open display and build their own set of techniques for the upcoming duel. Because all selections are visible, both players can constantly adapt their strategies and react to their opponent's choices. In the second, the Bushido Phase, players simultaneously play cards face down and then reveal them. The cards create various effects, advantages, and combinations, making it essential to predict which technique your opponent will use. The objective is to land a decisive strike at the moment when your attack strength exceeds your opponent's defense.
