Power Grid: Bremen/Manhattan is an expansion for the board game Power Grid.
The competition among power companies in Bremen for the largest number of customers is especially fierce and fast-paced. Nuclear power plants are not used to supply electricity in Bremen, making the struggle for limited resources even more intense. Unlike the other game maps, Bremen does not use traditional connection costs between cities; instead, it features fixed district costs. In addition, some districts are so small that they allow only two network spaces, preventing further competition once they are occupied.
Manhattan has an exceptionally high demand for electricity, but very little space for the necessary power networks. As a result, power companies are constantly competing for the lowest construction costs throughout Manhattan. This map consists of a single large area, and the game remains in Step 1 from start to finish.
