The theme is abstract yet vibrant—players use cards in seven colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet), each representing a different rule for determining who is currently winning. The colors are ranked by strength, with red being the strongest. Each color defines how a winner is determined—for example, red means “highest card,” blue means “most different colors,” green means “most cards of the same number,” and so on.
Game flow:
- Each player starts with 7 cards in their hand and one card in their palette (personal play area).
- A card is placed in the center to determine the current rule of the game (the Canvas).
- On your turn, you must ensure that you are winning according to the current rule—otherwise, you are eliminated.
- You can do this in three ways:
- Play a card into your palette.
- Change the rule by playing a card to the center.
- Do both at the same time.
- If you cannot secure a winning position, you are eliminated from the round.
- The last remaining player wins the round and scores points.
Advanced rules introduce extra actions on certain cards (1, 3, 5, and 7), allowing players to draw cards, swap cards between players, and perform other special effects.
