"Ruination" is a strategic board game for 2 to 4 players, set in a post-apocalyptic Eurasia. Players take on the roles of leaders of rival hordes fighting for dominance and access to the last water source, controlled by an immortal Khan.
The world ended so long ago that no one remembers its name. From the ashes arose the Khanate, whose citadel guards the last source of water. The immortal Khan decrees that only the most worthy may drink from it. Thus, the hordes prepare for battle, struggling for survival and supremacy in this new world.
"Ruination" combines area control and civilization-building mechanics. Players use an innovative action system to gather resources, gain advantages from the remnants of the old world, strengthen their armies with powerful outcasts, and move across the Wasteland in a war for control of key regions.
