In the board game SCOUT, you step into the shoes of circus managers searching for the best talents for your show. Your goal is to assemble the most incredible troupe and perform dazzling acts that will amaze the audience!
Each card has two values—one on the top and one on the bottom edge. When a player receives their hand, they must decide which orientation to use, as cards cannot be rearranged during the game. The order of cards must remain exactly as dealt. The only allowed change is flipping the entire hand.
Actions:
- Show: Play a sequence (run) or a set of matching numbers that must beat the current combination on the table.
- Scout: If you cannot beat the current play, you may take one card from it and add it to your hand. The player who made the original play gains a point.
- Scout & Show: Once per round, a player may perform both actions at the same time.
Players earn points from collected cards and tokens. A round ends when a player plays all their cards or when no one can beat the current combination.
