Star Trek: Captain's Chair – Second Contact is an expansion for Star Trek: Captain's Chair and Star Trek: Captain's Chair – To Boldly Go.
In Star Trek: Captain's Chair, you face off against an opponent, with each player taking on the role of one of the iconic leaders from throughout the history of the Star Trek universe. You command starships, crews, and away teams while managing resources and forging alliances.
Star Trek: Captain's Chair – Second Contact includes three new captains who can compete against the captains from the base game, the characters from the To Boldly Go expansion, or each other. To play, you will need the shared cards from one of the base games.
Among the new captains are:
- Carol Freeman, Captain of the U.S.S. Cerritos,
- Christopher Pike, Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise.
The expansion also introduces the new starting location Krulmuth-B, which opens a portal across space and time, adding new strategic possibilities to the game.
