Summoner Wars is a tactical card-driven board game that puts players in the role of powerful summoners leading unique armies in a battle for dominance over the fantasy world of Itharia. Designed for two players, it combines strategic thinking, resource management, and unit positioning on a battlefield grid.
Set in the war-torn realm of Itharia, the game revolves around rival factions commanded by summoners. Each faction has its own story, playstyle, and special abilities. Among them are the Savanna Elves, Tundra Orcs, Cave Goblins, the Fallen Kingdom, and many others, all fighting for control of the world through a combination of magic and military might. The setting is richly fantastical, filled with magical creatures, powerful spells, and epic confrontations.
Players spend magic points to summon warriors, champions, and other creatures from their decks. Units move across a grid-based battlefield and engage enemy forces in combat. Battles are resolved by rolling dice based on a unit’s attack strength. Wall Cards are special cards that serve both as defensive structures and as summon points for deploying new units. The game also features powerful Event Cards that can dramatically alter the course of battle.
