Switch and Signal is a cooperative board game that puts players in the role of railway dispatchers, responsible for coordinating trains, signals, and switches to deliver cargo to a port city on time. The game was designed by David Thompson and published by Kosmos.

In the game, you manage a railway network that spans across Europe or North America (each side of the board features a different map). Your task is to coordinate trains that pick up colored cargo cubes from cities and deliver them to the port. You must complete this mission within 17 rounds before time runs out.

The game’s core mechanic is pick-up & deliver – trains collect cargo and transport it. Players use cards to change track directions and open/close signals. Train speed depends on color (gray – slow, brown – medium, black – fast) and is determined by dice rolls. If a train doesn’t use its full movement, it may crash or stop in the wrong place, causing players to lose time tokens. Players have three types of cards – for moving trains, setting signals, and switches. Two identical cards can be used as a "wild" for another action.
