The game takes place on the Red Planet, where players compete to raise the temperature, increase oxygen levels, and build oceans. The theme is science-fiction-based but firmly rooted in realistic concepts of terraforming.
Players play cards that provide resource production, special actions, and victory points. Each round, every player selects one of five phases (Development, Construction, Action, Production, Research). All selected phases are executed, meaning gameplay happens simultaneously and keeps the pace fast. MegaCredits, heat, plants, steel, titanium, microbes, and animals all need to be managed efficiently. With more than 200 unique cards featuring upgraded artwork, the game offers a wide range of strategies and powerful card combinations. The game ends once all three global parameters are completed, after which players total points from cards, actions, and their progress on the terraforming scale.
