The Hanging Gardens takes you to the magnificent city of Babylon, where King Nebuchadnezzar II wishes to create the legendary Hanging Gardens for his queen, Amitis. Players take on the roles of architects and gardeners competing to build the most beautiful garden, filled with flowers, trees, animals, and decorative elements. The goal is to create a harmonious structure that will impress the royal couple and earn the most points.

The game is played over 4 rounds, and each player has 3 gardeners to select garden cards from the central display. Lower cards are free, while higher ones require spending tools. Cards are added to your garden following strict rules—upper cards must be supported by two lower ones. You can use coins to buy decorative tiles that enhance the effect of empty cards. Fulfilling royal requirements earns additional points.
At the end, points are scored for connected flower fields, trees, animals, visitors, and completed objectives. The player with the most points wins.

The rules are simple but offer enough strategy for experienced players. The game lasts only half an hour, making it perfect for families, couples, or as a warm-up for a longer game night.
