The Prodigals Club is a strategic board game with an exceptionally unusual and humorous theme: players take on the roles of wealthy Victorian gentlemen who have decided that a dull, respectable life no longer interests them – their goal is to destroy their own social standing.
Instead of accumulating wealth, influence, and popularity, you aim to:
- lose elections,
- get rid of all your possessions,
- offend and drive away your influential acquaintances.
The game is set in the same thematic world as Last Will, also designed by Vladimír Suchý, but it functions entirely as a standalone experience.
You place assistants on the board to perform actions within individual “competitions.” Cards determine actions, bonuses, and special effects. The winner is not the player who has the most, but the one who manages to lose everything as evenly as possible across all active areas.
