Three‑Dragon Ante: Legendary Edition is a renewed version of the classic Dungeons & Dragons card game, often played by adventurers in taverns within the D&D world. It is a light, fast, daring game of luck and clever tactics, in which players wager gold and try to form the strongest “flight” of three cards — dragons or mortals. This edition brings updated artwork, new legendary dragons, mortal cards, gold and platinum tokens, and the option to connect the game to D&D campaigns through special ability disks.
Players begin with cards and a certain amount of gold. Each round (gambit), they first pay the ante — the amount of gold depends on the strongest card played during that round. Players then take turns playing cards from their hands. If the strength of a card is lower than or equal to the strength of the previously played card (or if you are the first player in the round), that card’s special ability is activated.
The winner of the gambit is the player who forms the strongest flight of three cards. The one who collects the most gold and platinum tokens becomes the final winner. The game ends when a player can no longer pay the ante.
