Three Sisters: Harvest Edition is a strategic board game designed by Adam Hill, Ben Pinchback, and Matt Riddle in which players manage their own backyard vegetable garden.
The game is inspired by the traditional Indigenous farming method known as the “Three Sisters,” where corn, beans, and squash are planted together and support each other's growth.
As you play, you develop your garden, plant crops, encourage efficient plant growth, and try to get the most value from your farm. Corn serves as a structure for beans to climb, beans enrich the soil with nitrogen, and squash helps retain moisture while suppressing weeds.
It is a roll-and-write game, meaning that dice rolls determine the available actions, while players record their progress on individual player sheets. Throughout the game, you gradually expand different parts of your garden and create chains of bonuses that make your actions increasingly efficient.
