In this game, you’ll find yourself in a tense battle between two teams: Sherlock Holmes’ team, aiming to deactivate all bombs, and Moriarty’s team, trying to trigger an explosion. Moriarty has planted several colored bombs throughout the city, and players must use conversation, bluffing, and logic to figure out who is on which side—and which cards hide danger.
The game is designed for 4–6 players and lasts about 15 minutes.
Each player receives a secret role (Sherlock or Moriarty) and cable cards, which may hide bombs, empty wires, or deactivation cards.
Players take turns choosing which card from another player they will “cut” with symbolic scissors.
- If a bomb is revealed, Moriarty’s team can win immediately—depending on the bomb’s color and special effect.
- If a deactivation card is revealed, it’s a step toward victory for Sherlock’s team.
The game is played over four rounds, with the number of cards in players’ hands decreasing each time.
Special bombs (e.g., blue, red, pink) have unique effects that influence gameplay—such as extra cuts, fewer turns, or instant explosions under certain conditions.
If you’re looking for a short, tense, and social game that encourages bluffing, deduction, and lively conversation, Time Bomb Evolution is an excellent choice for groups that enjoy psychological games and quick twists. đź’Ł
