Unmatched Adventures: Tales to Amaze is a standalone cooperative game in the Unmatched series that transports players into a world of pulp adventures, urban legends, and mysterious creatures from the mid-20th century. Instead of battling one another, players join forces to confront powerful villains such as Mothman or the Martian Invader, who are supported by dangerous minions including Jersey Devil, The Blob, Ant Queen, Loveland Frog, Skunk Ape, and Tarantula. The game also introduces four new heroes: Nikola Tesla, Annie Christmas, The Golden Bat, and Dr. Jill Trent, each with their own unique abilities and playstyle.
The gameplay is built around the familiar Unmatched system but adapted for cooperative play. Players move their heroes across the map, use cards for attacks, defense, and special effects, and work together to stop the main villain and its minions. Rather than being controlled by another player, enemies are managed by a card-driven system and straightforward movement and attack rules, creating the feeling of facing an intelligent opponent. Each villain has distinct objectives and special rules, making games against Mothman and the Martian Invader feel significantly different. Coordination between players is essential, as they must manage minions, complete objectives on the battlefield, and simultaneously reduce the villain's health before it is too late.
The game will appeal to players who enjoy cooperative experiences and tackling challenging tactical puzzles as a team.
Unmatched Adventures: Tales to Amaze is an excellent choice for players who want to experience exciting tactical battles in a cooperative format while joining legendary heroes to confront unforgettable monsters and mysteries. 🦇
